Our bank details will not change
To help combat cybercrime, our bank details will not change from those shown on our invoices. Emails can be faked. If you receive an email or any other message claiming to be from Morrell Middleton saying our bank details have changed, it is not from us. Do not act on it, and please call us on 01904 691141.
Fake HMRC messages
HM Revenue & Customs is a common target for criminals. If you receive a message from HMRC about a tax bill or refund that does not match what we have told you, please do not act on it and contact us first. HMRC never asks for bank details by email.
Marketing
If you do not wish to receive marketing from us by post or email, please let us know at reception@gravitax.co.uk.
Confidentiality
Our emails and any attachments are confidential and may be legally privileged. They are intended only for the person they are addressed to. If you receive one by mistake, please tell the sender and delete it and any attachments straight away. You must not share, use, copy or store the contents.
Email security
Email is not a secure way to communicate, and replies could be intercepted. Please bear this in mind before sending sensitive information to us by email.
Viruses
We take reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee that our emails and attachments are free of viruses or compatible with your systems. Please carry out your own checks. We accept no liability for any virus or computer problems.
Staff emails
Our staff use our email system. Unless an email comes from a director, treat it as general guidance only, and speak to a director before relying on it for anything significant.
